February was a pretty busy month, but even though it was busy, I’m glad that I was able to take some time to recharge again via a home staycation that gave me a lot of clarity and insights into some things.
Can you believe that November is actually ending, and that we’re only one month away from ending 2020?
I finally went on my long overdue staycation, and I can confidently say that I’m back now, more refreshed and recharged!
Last week felt like a strange week, as I’m used to being stressed during the week of Halloween, as I used to be in charge of events in the office. I did have a little bit of stress with a video that I had to compile for the cosplay competition, and because I was a bit overwhelmed with the Digital Marketing Capstone I’m currently taking on Coursera. I could have probably handled myself better emotionally, but wasn’t able to as the week just felt off to me.
I didn’t know that October would fly by this fast. I didn’t expect that at all. It only felt like yesterday that I was writing down my October goals, and now, lo and behold, its the end of October already!
I still can’t get over the fact that we are not just in October, but that we are in the last quarter of the year. This week saw me doing a lot of planning for both myself and for work, despite everything I do need to accomplish for work.
To be honest, I’m very fond of the month of October as I do love dressing up/cosplaying for Halloween, and because it means that there are only a few months left until my birthday. However, October also means the start of the last quarter of the year, which also means that there are a lot of plans to be made, and reports to make as well.
Last week I actually went on a staycation, which, I think came at the perfect timing because of the whirlwind of happenings and emotions that happened right before the staycation happened and right after it.
I really can’t believe that it’s September already. It honestly doesn’t feel like the start of the Christmas season at all, as I’m accustomed to hearing Christmas music being played in the convenience store or on radio stations. This week, although there were some fun highlights, I did feel pretty tired, which is making me way more excited for the staycation I’m planning to take this week.
I can’t believe that it’s already September, the month where, in my country, malls and radio stations start playing Christmas songs. However, as most of us are staying at home, we’ll be the ones playing it in our homes. It also makes me wonder how Christmas and New Year’s festivities will be this year. One thing’s for sure, it’ll probably be over Zoom calls or social distanced as we have no idea when the curve will flatted over here.
